Stickers: a lower cost option to consider...

Metal safety signs don’t always suit every application. Sometimes you want a smallish sign to go onto glass, a wall, a cupboard or smooth painted surface. Self adhesive stickers are ideal when the size is within the “easy to apply” size range for these surfaces. Even better, they also save you money.

Who ever said size doesn't matter?

Having the right size for your situation is critical.

When you have a message to convey you want it seen - quickly, clearly, appropriately - with an awareness of the space available, and the distance from which it will be viewed.

Biggest is not always the best!

The biggest can look out of place and more importantly, cost more. I’ve created this resource so you can choose well; communicate effectively, and save money.

 

So, what size is for you...

The easiest way to judge metal safety sign size is with reference to a sheet of A4 paper. Getting this right is a visual thing so folding an A4 or putting two or four pieces together allows you to judge size.

What the Australian Standard AS1319 says...

Safety signs should be positioned in line of sight against a contrasting background. They should be located where vision is not obstructed by machinery or stacked boxes.
