Nobody wants to be harmed anywhere. With all the expenses that could be incurred due to an accident, no person ever dreams about getting injured and spending a big amount of money to recover. With the more serious health- and life-threatening situations in the construction and manufacturing environments, employers become serious about establishing a safety programme. They also become strict about using safety signage like flammable signs. Companies now require people to follow what the signs say. For example, if one of the flammable signs convey the presence of highly combustible substances, employers expect their personnel not to light up their cigarettes or to bring naked lights anywhere near the combustible materials and liquids. Anybody who is found to have violated what is stated on the signs can face disciplinary actions because of the threat that he is exposing other people to.
Nevertheless, firms do not just look at how the employees are complying with the safety measures being established. They also ensure that their safety committee has positioned the flammable signs in the right places. They see to it that the signage are set up in highly visible areas making sure that people can immediately put their attention on the warning signs.
